Today's show:

  • Summer Sessions
  • Mark Snowden continues leading the storying & CP workshop
  • Great story about church planting on the side of a Guatemala volcano
  • Daniel Sanchez on not missing the CP opportunity

Mark Snowden continues leading this workshop on the use of story for church planting by moving us this week into the importance of oral discipleship with oral learners. He then takes us into "drawing the net" - gathering the responsive into churches.  A story from the sides of a Guatemalan volcano effectively illustrates how story can lead to churches.  Dr. Daniel Sanchez, Professor of Missions at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, discusses how we can easily miss church planting opportunities through a heavy focus on method in storying and not seeing the receptivity of our target audience.

Still time to sign up for September's (20th-23rd) International Orality Network conference in Georgia (USA)!
